Recharging Inside & Out
Dec 8, 2009
I found the opportunity to escape to sunny Southwest Florida last week for a bit of rest and relaxation before the December Holiday rush.
What a wonderful few days under that November sun!! First thing each morning, I made a big mug of green tea and headed
out
to the beach -- such a calming way to start the day. Along with that good healthy walk, before I knew it, I was bending and stretching and doing the “Sanibel Stoop” – stopping every few feet and bending over and picking up shells. There are so many different varieties of shells --
from the garden of the sea -- in one of the best shelling locations in the United States and possibly the world. Copy and paste the following link to your browser for more information --

-- If you are looking for a really nice place to go for a quiet, back to nature few days, Sanibel Island (
www.sanibelisland.com
) is an excellent choice.
There were a lot of people out walking and jogging on the beach early in the day.
What a great, natural exercise for the body and spirit.
Note to Self: That walk along the beach is a real treat for feet! That combination of sand and salt water under each step works wonders for scrubbing up and softening the feet – it’s really the first step in a great pedicure!
After that most welcome break, I’m back in Toronto, spending a little more time
inside
, back at the McBlooms workshop as we start our Holiday Open House and get ready for Holiday festivities with family and friends.
If you have a moment, drop us a line and tell us what recharges your body and spirit at this busy time of year – we’d love to hear from you!
